How do I book a holiday with this promotional rate?

You need to collect 5 different code words from participating newspapers between 6th and 20th May 2018. A new code word will be printed in the newspapers each day. Visit www.greataussieescapes.com.au to enter your code words and personal details to book your holiday.

What are the terms & conditions related to this promotional offer?

It is important that you read the promotional terms and conditions carefully before booking your break. Your online booking is your confirmation of your acceptance of the terms and conditions. No amendments can be made by you after your holiday has been confirmed online. No refunds can be made in the event of cancellation, by you, after the holiday confirmation has been issued to you, in accordance with your application, unless the reason for cancellation is default by the park operator. The Terms and Conditions are available at www.greataussieescapes.com.au.

When does the website open for bookings?

The website is open from 28th April 2018 for you to search for your Great Aussie Escape. You can make a booking from Thursday 10th May or as soon as you have collected your 5 different newspaper code words.

When does the website close for bookings? 

Booking will close at 11:59pm on Thursday 31st May 2018

Where can I find my unique promotional code?

By entering your 5 different code words, you will unlock your booking, generating a unique promotional code which you will be able to redeem immediately on the booking page or at any time up until booking closes at 11:59pm on Thursday 31st May 2018.

When can I go on holiday with the offer?

There is a broad selection of dates included in this promotion from Friday 1st June to Sunday 30th September 2018. Not all locations are available on all dates. The accommodation price is for powered and unpowered sites only. All dates and parks are subject to promotional availability.

How many nights can I book with my promotional code?

The promotional code is valid for bookings of 2 nights ONLY. Subsequent nights will revert to the normal rack rate for the specific parks selected. Multiple breaks can be booked with multiple code words (quantity of 5 different code words per holiday booking).

Do I need to pay for babies and infants?

Babies and infants up to 3 years stay free. Children 3-16 years stay free maximum 3 children per site.

What if there are more than 5 people in my party?

For more than 5 people (made up of 2 adults and 3 children aged under 16 years old) you will need to book 2 separate sites (both of which must have at least one adult over the age of 21) and will require 2 separate online bookings to be made.

Can I book more than one holiday with my promotional code?

No, once you have entered your 5 different newspaper code words, your name and email address, you can only book one holiday, subject to availability. However, should you collect 10 different newspaper code words, you will be able to generate two unique promotional codes and book a second holiday, subject to availability. 
5 different code words = 1 booking
10 different code words = 2 bookings.

I can’t find a holiday online?

It may be that your choices have sold out. There are thousands of holidays available. So please try another search. New availability may be added so please check regularly as more holidays may have been added.

Can I change or cancel my holiday once booked?

Unfortunately, you cannot change or cancel a booking once it has been confirmed. Please refer to the terms and conditions of the promotion.

Is there a booking fee?

There is an online fee of 10% per booking.

Do you offer holiday insurance?

No, we do not offer holiday insurance.

I need an adapted access accommodation, what should I do?

Adapted access accommodation is available on most parks to suit people with disabilities - please contact us before you book to discuss your individual requirements at promotions@discoveryparks.com.au.

Are pets welcome?

Many of our parks welcome pets and these are clearly indicated in the details about each park on the Discovery Holiday Parks website at www.discoveryholidayparks.com.au.

Do you overbook holidays?

When you book online your reservation is made directly on our system and your booking is confirmed immediately.

My newspaper codewords are not working?

To book online via www.greataussieescapes.com.au you need 5 different newspaper code words printed in a participating newspaper from Sunday 6th May and Sunday 20th May. All newspaper code words printed between these dates are valid so please check that you enter them correctly.
